The Little Big house
A 1950’s brown shingle re-invented.ᅠ Thirty people for a party, you're cooking?ᅠ No problem, this little house just got big without a single square foot added. ᅠThe design for this all-over interior renovation weaves the clients eclectic sensibility with a modern approach to space, light, and detailing; the result is a light filled and warm space that invites the outdoors in and entertains graciously.ᅠ The desire for more light, yet some visual separation between living and kitchen led to an innovative solution of acrylic panels hung from 2 story cables. ᅠThe furnishings, also part of the project scope, playfully intermingle with inherited antiques, collected artworks and modern classics.
