“Missing middle” is a commonly-used term that refers to the range of housing types that fit between single-family detached homes and mid-to-high-rise multi-family buildings
Laraarchitecture is conducting a feasibility study for “missing middle” homes on a special site in a small city east of Oakland. Anchored by a 300-year-old Live Oak with views to Mt Diablo, the site is a two-minute walk to BART and downtown services and amenities.
Our feasibility study entails careful observation of and analytical research on all site opportunities and constraints. It asks, what is the highest and best use of this 5-acre parcel 1) for the Earth, 2) for the neighborhood and community at large, and 3) for those that will someday live there.
Details to come soon.
